About The Position
RS is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Drill and Cut Operator to support production by drilling, cutting, and preparing composite utility poles to meet quality, safety, and production standards. This role is key to delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Overhead Crane and Lift Truck Certification is preferred
- 1-year minimum manufacturing or production experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Drill & Cut equipment to meet production and quality standards.
- Perform drilling, cutting, measuring, and mechanical scrap cutting operations.
- Inspect equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Operate overhead cranes and use measuring tools, gauges, and HMI controls.
- Complete required production documentation and maintain material inventory.
- Report equipment issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Support training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist Engineering with process improvements and equipment trials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
