DRG Validator (Full-time)
About The Position
Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking an experienced DRG Validator to join their growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding. Requirements
- Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
- CCS certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
- Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Must reside in the United States.
