About The Position

Immediate Position available for a Dredge Operator. This is a great opportunity for an experienced dredge operator to join our growing team! Excellent benefits, vacation, sick and holiday paid time off. You must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience operating a Hydraulic Dredge. Starting Hourly Pay Range for This Position: $25.00 to $30.00. This is based on previous work experience, skills, and current certifications / professional licenses.

Requirements

MUST have 5 + years plus in dredge operation experience
Must maintain a valid Driver's license
Experienced in Marine Construction
Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required
Be honest, hardworking, reliable, punctual and attitude to get the job done

Nice To Haves

Heavy equipment experience a plus
OSHA Certifications a plus
Boating or Equipment Certifications a plus

Responsibilities

Operating and maintaining the hydraulic dredge
Completion of Daily Dredge and Maintenance Log
MUST be motivated and able to work independently
Be able to communicate well with the superintendent, boat operators, dredge engineer and deck hands
Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed
Duties will include cleaning equipment, check fluids and grease daily
Position will include some miscellaneous laborer
Position will require out of town (Florida) travel for extended periods
