Drawbench Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Safely operate draw benches to provide our customers with products of the highest value, quality, and performance. This role involves identifying and correcting unsafe situations, following work instructions and process specifications for machine setup and production, and keeping track of drawbench changeovers to ensure timely completion. The operator will also be responsible for reading micrometers, performing routine quality checks and visual inspections, entering quality check data into the Route Card, and placing nonconforming products on hold. Monitoring the draw bench to ensure the production of quality product, reporting maintenance issues as they arise, and communicating effectively with various team members are also key aspects of this position. Additionally, maintaining housekeeping standards and being willing to operate other equipment as needed are required.
Requirements
- Ability to meet production rates
- Able to lift approx. 65 pounds continually
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Be a driven self-starter who requires minimal supervision
- Able to meet expectations for safety and attendance
- Possess an excellent quality record
- Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork skills
- Obtain and maintain a valid Forklift License

- Previous Draw Bench experience preferred
Responsibilities
