Drainage Foreman
About The Position
We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway or Bridge Projects. Applicant must be familiar with working on heights and/or Manlifts. Must be able to work as part of a team to accomplish a common goal. This is a field-based role. Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Requirements
- 3-5 years drainage foreman experience.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.
Responsibilities
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Reviews estimate and understand costs and production, and schedules before starting.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work for various construction trade crews.
- Ensure construction per plan requirements.
- Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, time sheets and daily management reports.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.
