About The Position

Russo Bros. is growing and looking for experienced Drain Cleaners who take pride in their work, know how to solve problems, and understand the importance of great customer service. As a Drain Cleaner, you'll provide professional drain cleaning services to residential customers while delivering a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • Drain cleaning experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with residential main and secondary drain lines
  • Familiarity with sewer systems and drain diagnostics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Positive, coachable attitude with a willingness to continue learning
  • Comfortable using tablets and digital technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer demand, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Camera inspection experience is a plus
  • Technical or trade school education is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential drain cleaning services, including main and secondary drain lines.
  • Diagnose drain and sewer issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
  • Use drain cameras and other equipment to identify and evaluate plumbing and sewer issues.
  • Clearly explain findings, recommendations, and solutions to customers.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the service process and ensure they understand the work being performed.
  • Complete service calls efficiently while meeting individual and team performance goals.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch and the Service Manager to keep jobs moving and customers informed.
  • Work with the Excavation Department when camera inspections or additional evaluation are needed.
  • Complete service documentation, invoices, and customer information accurately using company-provided technology.
  • Collect payments and request customer reviews following completed service.
  • Assist Plumbing Service Technicians with jobs and projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and keep equipment and work areas organized.
  • Follow all applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings, safety meetings, and ongoing training.
