About The Position

Work with project teams to prepare and finalize project deliverables and contract documents in accordance with the company standards, municipal/jurisdictional requirements, survey standards, and client requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge/use of techniques, working knowledge of procedures and terms of the industry.
• Ability to perform a self QC review on your completed assignments, to reduce errors.
• Able to incorporate surveyor’s/engineer’s markups.
• Able to interpret and incorporate client’s standards.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Carlson (or equivalent).
• Productive with Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Google Earth.
• Proficient with reference files and drawing to scale.
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
• Communication skills.
• Working as a valuable part of a team.
• Work semi-independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
• Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD).

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in Surveying
• Drafter Certification

Responsibilities

• Prepares various drawings (plan, elevation, profile views, details, and notes) for survey projects.
• Processes redlined drawings from QC, PLS, and/or project teams to finalize deliverables.
• Performs a self QC review on completed assignments to reduce errors.
• Incorporates surveyor’s/engineer’s markups.
• Interprets and incorporates client’s standards.
• Completes assignments from Drafting Manager or assigned lead with minimal guidance.
• Other duties as assigned.
