About The Position

As a leading on-your-lot homebuilder, the company prides itself on craftsmanship, integrity, and a dedicated team. They are seeking a skilled Drafter proficient in Revit to join their team. This role offers a chance to create plans that become actual homes across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina, suitable for both entry-level and mid-level candidates.
Requirements
- A degree in drafting/design (Associate degree required)
- Proficiency in Revit (minimum 1 year)
- Speed and accuracy — you can draft plans quickly without sacrificing quality
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and find the most efficient path to the goal
- Exceptional follow-up skills and a knack for solving problems
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, polished Revit drawings for residential homes, from sales drawings for customer approval to permit drawings for county approval
- Collaborate daily with sales and estimating departments, engineers, lumber suppliers, and cabinet partners
- Work directly with county permitting departments across VA, MD, NC and SC
- Assist in reviewing project files to keep every home on track
