Requirements

A degree in drafting/design (Associate degree required)
Proficiency in Revit (minimum 1 year) — Revit is how we produce ALL of our drawings, so genuine comfort with it is essential.
Speed and accuracy — you can draft plans quickly without sacrificing quality
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
The ability to multitask, prioritize, and find the most efficient path to the goal
Exceptional follow-up skills and a knack for solving problems
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Produce accurate, polished Revit drawings for residential homes, from sales drawings for customer approval to permit drawings for county approval
Collaborate daily with our sales and estimating departments, engineers, lumber suppliers, and cabinet partners
Work directly with county permitting departments across VA, MD, NC and SC
Assist in reviewing project files to keep every home on track
