About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drafter to join our engineering team, supporting the design and delivery of innovative Water and Wastewater Treatment projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with extensive drafting experience, excellent 3D modelling capabilities, and a solid understanding of process equipment, piping systems, skids, valves, and tank design. The successful candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D, possess strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, and be capable of delivering high-quality work to project deadlines while collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Requirements

Degree in Applied Science (Drafting) or a related discipline with a strong technical background.
Experienced in a similar drafting or design role.
Extensive technical drafting experience within an engineering environment.
Strong understanding of process equipment, piping systems, valves, skid-mounted systems, and tank design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants using AutoCAD, under the guidance of Design Engineers.
Produce detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Develop 3D models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Support BIM Asset Management, including the completion of Asset Registers and Asset Information Models.
Coordinate and compile comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals, including as-built models and drawings, equipment datasheets, operating and maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules, and spare parts schedules.
Apply sound engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to design challenges.
