About The Position

The Drafter is responsible for providing overall drafting support on various projects for Aboveground Storage Tank products. This includes doing layout and design work, as directed by the engineering team.

Requirements

2+ year’s construction-related drafting experience; or 4+ years general drafting experience.
Training in general drafting skills.
Training in AutoCAD and/or Inventor is required.
Basic knowledge/understanding of appropriate standards, i.e., API.
Understanding of general math and trigonometry functions.
General understanding of field construction and the ability to do complex layouts.
General computer knowledge.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of aboveground storage tank product lines and experience working with products is preferred.

Responsibilities

Correct drawings from Engineering.
Pick-up red marks from the Checker.
Produce new drawings.
Perform basic layouts.
Work closely with project managers and the estimating team to ensure deadlines are met on time.
Perform additional responsibilities, as directed.
