About The Position

This position is for a contract CAD Drafter. Typical hours are 8 hours a day Monday-Friday, with overtime possible. The role involves picking up redlines from Designers in AutoCAD and from MOCs to support Document Control, as well as general AutoCAD work for the Design Team.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in Drafting
• Worked in a similar capacity
• AutoCAD
• Basic computer/PC skills
• Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to function as part of a project team
• Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical and/or I&E Designers, Engineers, Contractors)
• Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology

Nice To Haves

• Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
• Experience using Falcon
• Experience in SAP
• Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech
• Leadership
• Work under the direction of Engineers and Designers
• Must be able to function with little supervision

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices
• Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
• Must be able to perform field walk downs
• Set up CAD environment including libraries and layers
• Use Ponca City Refinery’s design standards and project procedures to create project drawings including the following but not limited to: Schematics / Isometrics, P&IDs, Building layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/pipe routing, Pipe schedules, Installation Details, Bill of Materials
