About The Position

Prepare detailed 2D and some 3D tank drawings according to specifications provided by Estimating, Project Management and Engineering Departments.

Requirements

• Proficient in 2D and basic 3D AutoCAD (paper space/model space and annotation scales).
• High motivation level and strong attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
• Ability to sit/stand at workstation for a prolonged period of time.
• Must be able to complete work in a timely manner.
• A.A. Degree in Drafting Technology or other related technical degree or a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in 2D and some 3D AutoCAD drafting in a production environment.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting in a production environment.
• Proficiency in current release of 2D AutoCAD.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Certification in current release of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Estimating, Project Management and Engineering to produce job specific drawings.
• Revisions.
• As-Builts.
• Printing and Distributions.
• Basic 3D models and Fabrication Drawings (with direct supervision).
• Proper implementation of CROM standards.
• Revise and/or maintain standard Company drawing blocks as directed by Drafting Supervisor.
• Participation in department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned and seasonal projects as necessary.
