About The Position

Bradley Pulverizer is seeking a Drafter / Design Engineer to join their small, close-knit team. This role involves creating and maintaining 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, producing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and supporting the manufacturing team. The position also includes managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), assisting with product development, collaborating with a global engineering team, participating in equipment inspections, and traveling for customer support. This role offers high visibility and a direct impact on the company's products, with opportunities to see the results of your work on the shop floor and at customer sites worldwide.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
  • 3D CAD experience in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
  • 2+ years of drafting/design experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication drawings, and mechanical assemblies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Curiosity and openness

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems and BOM management
  • Familiarity with PDM/document management systems
  • Experience supporting field service, commissioning, or installation activities
  • Knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrication practices
  • Experience working with heavy industrial equipment or material processing equipment

Responsibilities

  • Creating, revising, and maintaining 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Producing detailed fabrication, assembly, and component drawings to tight standards
  • Supporting the manufacturing team with drawing questions and technical issue resolution
  • Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawing revisions, and engineering documentation within our ERP system
  • Assisting with product development, design updates, and R&D prototype support
  • Collaborating with our global engineering team, including our UK office, on shared projects and standardization initiatives
  • Participating in equipment inspections, audits, rebuilds, and retrofit projects
  • Traveling (domestically and occasionally internationally) to support customer installations, commissioning, and field verification activities
