Requirements

Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering
Technical College diploma with equivalent industrial experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the development of drawings for assigned project.
Services shall include implementation of Drawings in AutoCAD, as per client’s Drawing Standards.
Implement and coordinate project as assigned.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with staff and/or outside contractors as necessary.
Coordinate project team meetings, i.e., make sure the necessary staff is invited to meeting, ensure essential material and information is available for meeting, etc.
Prioritize project schedule.
Ensure project timeline/deadlines are met.
Assist in tracking and documenting progress of projects.
Develop Drawings in AutoCAD as per client Drawings Standard
Consult with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts and determine requirements of detailed working drawings.
Examine schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute, and verify specifications for drafting data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances.
Locate files relating to specified design project in database library, load program into computer, and record completed job data.
Review work orders and procedural manuals and confer with vendors and design staff to resolve problems and modify design.
Generate computer tapes of final layout design to produce layered photo masks and photo plotting design onto film.
Supervise and coordinate work activities of workers engaged in drafting and designing layouts.
Strictly follow company’s safety and cGMP policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor to support normal operations.
