About The Position

This team provides support in the areas of Administration, Program Management, Engineering, and Logistics Programs associated with life cycle maintenance, modernization, and modification of Naval ships, unique platforms, new construction units and support facilities for Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP), an independent field activity of the Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA) Command that is aligned under Program Executive Office Attack Submarines (PEO SSN). SUBMEPP’s mission is to keep assigned Naval ships and submersibles safe, reliable, and affordable through use of its engineered life cycle maintenance and modernization products and services. SUBMEPP performs technical duties and responsibilities to provide and maintain engineered life cycle maintenance products in direct support of the Fleet, shipyards, industrial facilities, and NAVSEA.

Requirements

Associates Degree or related CAD certifications
3 years of professional experience in a related field.
An active or current DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of Maintenance Instruction Documents by preparing or updating technical illustrations and ensuring accuracy of content.
Incorporate mark-ups and revisions into electronic formats to maintain compliance with current standards.
Perform document cleanup and execute burst conversion processes to transition Maintenance Instruction Documents into the latest approved format.
Ensure all updates are properly archived and integrated into program databases to support lifecycle maintenance and modernization objectives.
Prepare or update Maintenance Instruction Documents illustrations.
Incorporate mark-ups into electronic format.
Clean up and burst convert Maintenance Instruction Documents into latest format.
