About The Position

The Borough of Tenafly is seeking a driver/laborer to work within the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include but are not limited to manual labor, recycling, road maintenance, sewers, buildings and grounds, vehicle maintenance, grass cutting, and snow plowing. Applicants should be prepared to perform duties in all weather conditions and work mandatory overtime. Applicants must possess a Class "B" CDL (Class "A" preferred). Hours are from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 35 hours per week. Must be available for weekend stand by and on call for emergencies. The Borough reserves the right to interview and/or appoint a candidate prior to the deadline. Tenafly is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
