About The Position

KLS Earthworks & Environmental is hiring a Finish Dozer Operator. We are looking for a professional who is enthusiastic and safety conscious to work full-time in Calgary. Reporting to the Supervisor, the operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment while working around other ground crew. Requirements

5+ years’ experience operating a dozer
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50lbs on a regular basis
Willing to work out of town as required
Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
Must comply with KLS’ no tolerance policy and complete the pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
Strong critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

GPS knowledge considered an asset

Responsibilities

Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe manner
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the equipment; including lubricating and cleaning
Fine grading and finishing required
Willing to assist ground crew when machine is not in use
