Requirements

3+ years experience operating a dozer in heavy civil or site development
Experience with GPS machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, etc.)
Ability to read grade stakes and construction plans
Understanding of earthmoving and grading principles
Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA standards

Nice To Haves

Experience on roadway, DOT, or infrastructure projects
Experience with finish grading using GPS systems
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
CDL (if required)

Responsibilities

Operate bulldozers (Cat D6, D8, or similar) for site clearing, earthmoving, and grading
Utilize GPS/grade control systems to maintain accurate cut/fill elevations
Read and interpret digital site models, plans, and grade stakes
Perform daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-shift)
Coordinate with foremen and surveyors to ensure grade accuracy
Maintain smooth surfaces and proper drainage patterns
Assist with site cleanup and general labor tasks as needed
Report equipment issues promptly
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
Maintain production efficiency and minimize rework
