About The Position

Under the direction of your Foreman/Supervisor, the Dozer Operator is primarily responsible for operating assigned Dozer/heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to complete the assigned task. Requirements

• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and to work independently.
• Attention and commitment to safety required.
• Must be willing to work various shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1-2 years experience in operating a dozer.

Responsibilities

• Dozer operation includes ripping, blending, and pushing material to crusher, stripping clay and topsoil, and slope banks.
• Responsible for installing safety ledges.
• Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work.
• Assist and work with others on production crews.
