About The Position

As the Downstream Product Manager, Digital Solutions, you will lead the development and commercialization of a new Digital Solutions business within the Trauma portfolio, partnering across the enterprise to shape strategy, drive customer adoption, launch innovative solutions, and establish a scalable foundation for future growth. This role involves analyzing market dynamics, developing strategic plans, building deep customer understanding, and articulating the value of products to diverse audiences. You will also develop sales tools, go-to-market plans, and partner with various teams to ensure commercial alignment and product success. Additionally, you will monitor performance, manage pricing, support clinical evidence generation, oversee product lifecycle activities, and drive continuous improvement within the product management function. Collaboration with market intelligence teams is key to strengthening strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Experience working within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

  • 2+ years of digital solutions experience, specifically in Orthopedics

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and recommend strategic areas of focus.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, annual marketing plans, product launch strategies, and customer engagement initiatives that align portfolio objectives with broader business goals.
  • Build deep customer understanding, including buying behaviors, value drivers, unmet needs, satisfaction trends, and perceptions of product attributes, and incorporate insights into strategic planning.
  • Articulate the clinical, technical, and business value of products and portfolios, tailoring messaging to diverse customer audiences and demonstrating how solutions address customer needs.
  • Develop sales tools, communication strategies, and go-to-market plans while partnering with Marketing Communications to ensure messaging aligns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish training strategies, support product launches, and ensure commercial alignment across the enterprise.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report portfolio performance, customer engagement metrics, and key business KPIs to leadership and commercial teams.
  • Lead pricing analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize portfolio performance and market competitiveness.
  • Support clinical evidence generation by defining study objectives, evaluating outcomes, and leveraging findings to strengthen value propositions and marketing strategies.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including obsolescence planning, to ensure long-term portfolio health and business continuity.
  • Establish short- and long-term improvement goals for the product management function and develop action plans to drive execution and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with market intelligence teams to define research priorities, generate actionable customer insights, and strengthen strategic decision-making.
