About The Position

This position is for a Douglas Operator on the 2nd Shift, working Monday through Thursday from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The role is located at the Kraft Heinz facility in Cedar Rapids, IA. The facility operates 3 shifts, is a non-union environment with approximately 200 hourly staff members (mix of temporary and full-time), and focuses on food service products including frozen soups and macaroni & cheese. The operator will be responsible for supporting continuous production flow in the Tub Pack Department, which includes operating various machinery and identifying quality concerns. Requirements

Thorough knowledge of the Tub Pack Department (Douglas, Pearson, Wexxar, 3M Taper, Power Jack, HMI, SKU Reader, Evolution Printer, etc.)
Identify any quality concerns with the packaging, print, label, or case
Must be detail-oriented and possess good organizational skills
Must ensure quality of products being packaged
Must have basic knowledge in equipment care and maintenance
Must be able to perform well under stress
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently and with others
Must be able to work in a safe manner
Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures
Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document
