About The Position

The Dough Table Operator assists the Dough Mixer in various tasks related to dough preparation and processing. This role involves moving dough-filled troughs, emptying scrap dough barrels, loading dough into the sheeter hopper, and overseeing table operations. The operator also assists with the honey bun fryer, monitors product quality, logs weights, and helps set up equipment at the start of the shift. This position requires an understanding of all job activities that could impact product safety, legality, and quality.

Requirements

• Demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality, and/or quality.
• Range of motion requires reaching forward 12 to 24 inches and reaching above shoulder level.
• Ability to push/pull required.
• Required lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting in excess of 50 pounds.

• Loading dough into dough sheeter hopper
• Operating dough sheeter table
• Overseeing Honey Bun Fryer
• Assisting Dough Mixer in pushing dough-filled trough to dough sheeter area
• Emptying scrap dough barrels in dough mixer
• Assisting in overseeing the honey bun fryer and quality of product
• Logging weights
• Assisting in setting up equipment at beginning of shift
