About The Position

The Dough Table Operator's job duties consist of assisting Dough Mixer in pushing dough-filled trough to dough sheeter area and emptying scrap dough barrels in dough mixer, loading dough into dough sheeter hopper, overseeing table operations, assists in overseeing the honey bun fryer and quality of product, logs weighs and assists in setting up equipment at beginning of shift. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality, and/or quality.

Requirements

Minimum of three months experience working in an industrial food manufacturing facility required.
Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job, safety, and production standards.
Must be able to communicate clearly and distinctly in English in person or via telephone and on paging device.
Requires reaching forward 12 to 24 inches and reaching above shoulder level.
Required abilities: pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing, and twisting.
Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 16 hours on a daily basis.
Hearing, vision and smell sufficient to detect malfunctions in all production equipment, evaluate product size, shape, color, appearance, position, and set gauges, dials, rulers, guides, etc.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in honey bun production.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
