About The Position

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet. This is an overnight route delivery position with dedicated routes and low touch freight using full pallet deliveries. Drivers will be part of a modern fleet of tractors and trailers and will be home daily with a 5-day work week and no weekends. The compensation package includes potential first-year earnings of $83,125.85 based upon average route hours, with actual annual earnings varying based on the length of the route. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
