About The Position

As a DOT Laborer w/ CDL-A for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our projects. You will perform a variety of tasks that aid our skilled trade workers and lead to the completion and success of a project. Please note that this position may require the employee to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time, dependent on your project location.

Requirements

This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience driving a tractor trailer with manual transmission and air-brakes required.
The employee is required to have a valid CDL A, reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the construction industry and with electronic log books preferred.

Responsibilities

Driving company vehicle- must comply with company vehicle policies. Vehicles include 1 ton dump truck with trailer, 1 ton dually with trailer and a semi with a 53 foot trailer.
Completing Department of Transportation logs and paperwork accurately.
Unloading/loading of materials into and out of trucks.
Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds and possible usage of hand tools and small power tools.
Performing other relevant duties as assigned and assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.
Following instructions from superintendents, project managers and construction plans and blueprints.
Maintaining a clean, organized and hazard free work area.
Following all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
