About The Position

Operate a tractor trailer combination Commercial Motor Vehicle to haul company equipment to client field / yard locations or returning equipment the Stingray Energy yard. Safely operate trucks to haul loads of equipment to various locations and well sites. Safely operate trucks and trailers, including load security of various types of equipment. Safely operate load handling equipment to load and unload equipment being hauled. Assure paperwork such as load tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately in KPA. Assure that trucks are maintained and in good working condition. Complete pre and post trip inspections and required for specific job(s) as well as fit for duty tests prior to driving. Must complete vehicle inspection and Driver’s Daily Log per DOT regulations. Must be able to operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD). Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, management, and vendors. Assist other company drivers when necessary. Must attend all required safety and training meetings. Maintain and foster professional relationships with all customers, staff, and vendors. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass physical exam, drug and alcohol screening and comply with regulations as well as all company and customer policies.
  • Have and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); cannot have air brake or manual transmission restriction; in the continental US.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test and comply with DOT regulations.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and be on call.
  • Ability to successfully solve problems.
  • Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year (or more) of experience preferred.
