Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is Required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Currently, or able to qualify for non-CDL DOT endorsement.
  • Must hold a DOT Drivers License, with the Hazmat Endorsement.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with team members, customers, vendors, etc.
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to contribute to team operations, performing all work in an efficient, organized, and cost-effective manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of Warehouse or material delivery driver experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fire sprinklers, plumbing, pipefitting, or construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up material from vendors and verify the contents against the purchase order.
  • Deliver materials to the warehouse and job sites and verify against the materials lists.
  • Clean and organize the warehouse as needed.
  • Gather materials from shop stock for jobs and label all bags and/or boxes of material.
  • Assist the Warehouse manager in measuring, cutting, grooving, and threading pipe according to specifications.
  • Assist warehouse manager process material returns from job sites.
  • Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Familiarize yourself with different types of fire sprinkler materials and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
