About The Position

Trinity Health Southeast Michigan is expanding and seeking a full-time radiation oncology dosimetrist to join their team. This position will provide coverage for six facilities across the greater Southeast Michigan area, with primary coverage at the new Pontiac / Oakland, MI location. The role requires an on-site presence with flexibility for remote work. The team utilizes ARIA, Eclipse, and Varian accelerators, and supports an active CyberKnife and HDR program. The Oakland facility is equipped with a new Varian linear accelerator with real-time tracking, a new 4D CT simulator, and brachytherapy. The position also involves supporting the education of radiation therapy students.

Requirements

• Requires bachelor's degree with specific course work in radiation therapy and dosimetry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist preferred.
• At least five years' of work experience in a progressive radiation oncology facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Duties are typical of Medical Dosimetrists working in a multi-center facility utilizing linear accelerators and state of the art software, hardware, and planning techniques.
