Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dosimetrist - Staten Island, Cancer Center (Radiation Oncology). In this role, the successful candidate The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for the accurate and safe radiation treatment planning, documentation, and quality assurance of patient treatment plans at NYU Langone's Perlmutter Cancer Centers. The Dosimetrist generates and verifies radiation dose distributions and calculations for adult and pediatric patients under the supervision of the Radiation Oncology Physicist and Radiation Oncologist. Treatment planning may include external beam radiation therapy and/or brachytherapy, including both offline and online adaptive treatment coverage across NYULMC facilities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with flexibility to perform certain duties remotely while maintaining an onsite presence as required for clinical collaboration, adaptive planning and patient care.
