As a Dosimetrist at MercyOne, you will use your knowledge of physics, anatomy and radiobiology to develop an optimal arrangement of radiation portals and exposures to spare normal and radiosensitive tissues while applying a prescribed dose by the Radiation Oncologist to the targeted disease volume.

Requirements

Certified by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist CMD, or eligible to sit for the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board - if eligible, you must pass within one year from the date of hire
Must have ability to identify anatomical structures from different imaging modalities
Proof of completion of Adult and Child Mandatory Reporter within three (3) months of hire

Responsibilities

Use knowledge of physics, anatomy and radiobiology to develop an optimal arrangement of radiation portals and exposures to spare normal and radiosensitive tissues while applying a prescribed dose by the Radiation Oncologist to the targeted disease volume.
