About The Position
Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to maintain apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps. This role offers steady evening hours and consistent work in a local area, ideal for those seeking a second job or supplemental income. Each service night, specialists are responsible for collecting trash and recycling and taking it to the on-site compactor using their personal pickup truck. The work involves servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors. Requirements
- Your own personal open-bed pickup truck (or vehicle with trailer) — required for this role
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- At least 18 years old
- Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
- Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
Responsibilities
- Collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps so it’s gone by morning
- Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and take it to the on-site compactor using your personal pickup truck
- Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area
- Stay active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during your shift
- Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed
