Door-to-Door Canvasser (1099)
About The Position
Shamrock Roofing & Construction's vision is to be America’s #1 roofer, and that means growth and opportunities for people ready to lead. Roofing sales is year-round work, and our Overland Park branch is looking for driven canvassers to help homeowners get the inspections they need. We proudly hire veterans. As a canvasser, you’ll knock doors in assigned neighborhoods, start conversations with homeowners, and set up roof inspections. This is an outside, door-to-door role, and self-generating leads is expected. This is a 1099 commission-based position. You earn $50.00 for every verified lead. A lead is verified once our sales team confirms it and a project manager gets on the roof and completes an inspection.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation (no company vehicle provided)
- A cell phone
- Comfortable with door-to-door sales and self-generating leads
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a self-starting attitude
- Honest and trustworthy
- Confident, with strong communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- A genuine desire to help homeowners
- Able to juggle multiple tasks
- Open to sharing ideas and suggestions
- Enjoys working outdoors
