Mi Familia Vota (“MFV”) and Mi Familia en Acción (“MFA”) are national, Latino-led civic engagement organizations dedicated to strengthening civic participation and building political power within Latino communities. MFA conducts nonpartisan voter-registration, voter-education, citizenship, and leadership-development programs. MFV advances advocacy, organizing, and voter-mobilization efforts so Latino communities can help shape the policies affecting their lives. Employees are hired by MF Professional Services, Inc. (“MFPS”), the employer of record, and assigned to support MFV and MFA programs. The Door-to-Door Canvasser engages community members in assigned neighborhoods about voter registration, voter education, civic participation, and Get Out the Vote initiatives. Canvassers travel through assigned areas, speak with residents using approved scripts, accurately document voter contacts, and follow all field-safety, data-security, and voter-registration requirements. This is a temporary position until the midterm elections. Continued employment or an extension of the assignment is not guaranteed and depends on funding, operational needs, and performance.
