About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Door Line Series Assembler - 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. This role involves machine operation and setup, manual door screen fabrication and cloth installation, palletizing finished goods, and performing quality checks. The assembler must follow all safety procedures and attend work on time for scheduled hours. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred
• Eagerness to learn
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Machine operation and setup
• Manual door screen fabrication and cloth installation
• Palletizing finished goods
• Quality checks
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
