Door Assembler
About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Door Assembler to join our team and support our growing millwork and door operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys hands-on work, and values precision. The assembler will be responsible for assembling doors according to exact specifications while maintaining Mill Creek’s high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
- Prior experience in woodworking, millwork, door building, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16 in) and follow detailed specifications
- Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, and prep interior and exterior door units to specification
- Read and interpret work orders and measurements accurately
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all products meet quality standards prior to delivery or installation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and customer expectations
- Assist with loading, staging, and preparing materials for delivery as needed
