About The Position
The Assembler is an entry-level position that is responsible for assembling interior and exterior door units in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures product quality, accuracy, and on-time completion while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75lbs (team lifting encouraged)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
Responsibilities
- Assemble door units, including pre-hung doors and components, according to specifications
- Read and follow work orders, measurements, and production instructions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
