About The Position

The Production Lead is a motivated and experienced production team member responsible for overseeing daily workflow and supporting operational execution within their assigned area. This role helps ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are maintained while mentoring team members and coordinating with supervision to meet production goals. The position requires strong technical capability, leadership by example, and the ability to guide team performance to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and guide others in a team setting
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative in addressing operational challenges
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting or moving materials as required
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on evolving responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety practices and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S/housekeeping standards).
  • Support daily production activities by coordinating workflow, resources, and priorities within the team.
  • Train, mentor, and assist team members to ensure skills development and proper execution of tasks.
  • Identify process issues or inefficiencies and take initiative to resolve problems or escalate when appropriate.
  • Monitor work output to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational expectations.
  • Perform production tasks proficiently and operate required equipment within assigned area as needed.
  • Communicate daily with supervision regarding production status, challenges, improvements, and key updates.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members regarding performance, safety, and quality.
  • Assist other departments or production areas as needed to support overall operational success.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
