About The Position

Mackenthun's Donut Fryer is responsible for quickly and efficiently preparing deep-fried bakery products that meet Mackenthun's quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be skilled in basic math.
• Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English language and communicate respectfully with managers, co-workers and customers.
• Must be honest and dependable, able to work independently and as a team member.
• Interest in selling food and learning the characteristics and qualities of the products and services Mackenthun’s offers.
• Provide supervision as needed to ensure excellent customer service and personal productivity.
• Minimize department losses due to improper product handling, storage, damage and spoils.
• Perform duties in a manner that safeguards company equipment, resources and image.

Nice To Haves

• Donut frying experience is desired, but not needed.

Responsibilities

• Deep-fry and finish (ie. coat or frost) cake donuts and donut holes, old-fashioned, and yeast-raised sweet rolls.
• Monitor inventory and assist in ordering ingredients.
• Fill customer orders and keep Bakery shelves and the donut case clean and fully stocked.
• Clean work areas, maintain proper sanitation/safety, practice proper safe-handling of food products.
• Help with selling events.
• Other duties as assigned.
