About The Position

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Part-Time Donor Scheduler in Gainesville, FL. This role involves inspiring individuals to schedule life-saving blood donation appointments, guiding them through the process, answering questions, and promoting local blood drives and special events. The goal is to help meet collection targets and ensure the community has an adequate blood supply. LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving over 150 hospitals across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, committed to providing high-quality blood components and services through its donor centers, bloodmobiles, and numerous blood drives.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• A love for connecting with people and motivating them to make a difference
• Comfort using phones and computers
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed
• High school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service, call center, and/or phone sales experience preferred
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (may qualify for additional compensation)
