About The Position

Our team works to build affinity with our members and develop long-term investors in our advocacy work and citizen activists. Our members are critical for shifting policy, electing environmental champions, and creating lasting change to protect our water resources in MN and the US. Callers are trained on our campaigns and gain experience in organizing, environmental activism, politics, non-profit work, and fundraising. Prior work in any of these areas will support success in this position. This hybrid position is perfect for those seeking flexible scheduling, with opportunities for long-term growth. The initial training is in-office (Downtown Minneapolis), with hybrid shifts after training is complete. Candidates who possess a strong commitment to environmental, social, and political justice, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humor will be well suited for this role. Bilingual candidates are a plus!

Requirements

  • Genuine commitment to progressive politics and environmental issues.
  • Open to working with people from different backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Confident asking for monetary contributions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented for record keeping.
  • Able to commute to downtown Minneapolis for initial training (2-4 weeks), and then once per week afterward.
  • Has a secure home environment with a strong private internet connection for remote work.
  • Comfortable using an Android phone.
  • Comfortable using/learning new web or app communication and reporting tools.
  • Commit to at least 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities
