The Donor Experience Officer (DXO) works as part of a high-performing, donor-centered team responsible for assisting the Division of Advancement with creating deeper connections with its donors and alumni. Using a variety of channels (email, social platforms, video conferencing, and phone) the DXO focuses on discovery and qualification of an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors by providing outreach and information that increases their engagement and potential for giving. The DXO must be able to clearly articulate the mission and goals of the University of Arkansas while demonstrating enthusiasm for its vision and aspirations. The DXO will manage a portfolio of 1,000 donors with clear weekly, monthly, and annual goals. The position will collaborate with other departments both internally at the University of Arkansas (including Advancement Marketing and Communications, Development Outreach, and the Arkansas Alumni Association) and externally execute 1:1 outreach campaigns using technology resources including EverTrue’s cloud platform, social media and virtual communications software. Working under the supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Philanthropy and Engagement, the DXO will work under the guidance of the EverTrue Advancement Programs Manager. Comfort with making personalized solicitations, daily use of video, phone, and email and use of multiple databases and virtual communication technology is critical to success in this role. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
