About The Position

At Trellis Supportive Care, every donor helps make compassionate hospice and palliative care possible for patients and families in our community. We are seeking a Donor Data Analyst who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about using data to support meaningful fundraising efforts. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our donor database while transforming data into meaningful reports, insights, and trends that help strengthen donor relationships and fundraising strategies.

Requirements

  • Two years of college or business school, or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong data entry, computer, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with donor database software; Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive donor and agency information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in Raiser’s Edge, ensuring a high level of data integrity and timely gift entry.
  • Process and coordinate donor gift acknowledgments, thank-you letters, matching gifts, tribute gifts, and other donor communications.
  • Analyze fundraising results, identify trends, and prepare reports to support donor portfolio management and fundraising decisions.
  • Develop customized reports for Finance, including information needed for 990 reporting and financial audits.
  • Create reports and data files for direct mail, newsletters, e-communications, and other fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage donor segmentation and ensure appeals, packages, and actions are accurately tracked in Raiser’s Edge.
  • Coordinate monthly reconciliation with Finance to ensure accurate financial and donor records.
  • Maintain database processes, policies, and procedures that improve data quality and efficiency.
  • Support donor research and provide analytical information to members of the Donor Relations team.
  • Assist with fundraising events, gatherings, and other departmental activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with volunteers to support monthly mailings
