We are looking for Class A CDL Drivers that have not only a great work ethic but also have outstanding customer service skills. This position provides a unique opportunity for those looking to combine their love of driving and their love for serving for a great cause! Our CDL Drivers operate local runs as well as OTR within the Southeastern states with most weekends home. The primary job duties include safely and efficiently operating commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban, and rural areas, and confined spaces, in all weather conditions to transport freight. This role requires compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations, taking and verifying dispatch instructions, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment and on-time movement of shipments. Drivers will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations. Most freight is drop and hook, but the role will require early morning and late evening hours, and adherence to DOT rules and regulations for hours of service. Drivers may be required to aid in unloading/loading processes at the store when needed, and will perform drop and hook trailer swaps at donations trailer sites and store retail sites.
