About The Position

As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations. This role involves inspecting, accepting, tracking, and sorting donations, ensuring they reach the correct destinations. You will also be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and assisting them as needed. Additionally, you will operate power equipment safely to organize and store donated goods, categorize and sort merchandise, and load and unload materials into containers. Efficient donation processing throughout the day is key to maintaining an organized and efficient donation site.

Requirements

Mathematical and Literacy Skills
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Positive and Friendly Attitude
Clear Background Check: A criminal background check must be completed.

Nice To Haves

Experience or Certification: Prior experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work.
Thrift or Used Goods Experience: Prior experience with thrift or used goods processing.
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Completion of high school or holding a GED, HiSET, or an equivalent qualification.
