About The Position

As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations. Your role will involve inspecting, accepting, tracking, and sorting donations, ensuring they find their way to the right place. You will also be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and offering assistance when needed. Additionally, you will operate power equipment to organize and store donated goods, categorize and sort merchandise into correct categories while ensuring quality and value, and load and unload materials into containers. Efficient donation processing throughout the day will be key to keeping our donation site organized and efficient.

Requirements

  • Mathematical and Literacy Skills
  • Flexible Schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Positive and Friendly Attitude
  • Clear Background Check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or Certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work
  • Thrift or Used Goods Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, HiSET)
