About The Position

As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations. Your role involves inspecting, accepting, tracking, and sorting donations, ensuring they reach the right place. You will also be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and offering assistance, operating power equipment safely to organize and store donated goods, and categorizing and sorting merchandise while ensuring quality and value. Additionally, you will load and unload materials into containers and process donations throughout the day to maintain an organized and efficient donation site.

Requirements

  • Mathematical and Literacy Skills
  • Flexible Schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Positive and Friendly Attitude
  • Clear Background Check

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work
  • Prior experience with thrift or used goods processing
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, HiSET, or equivalent qualification)
