About The Position

As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations. Your role involves inspecting, accepting, tracking, and sorting donations, ensuring they find their way to the right place. You will also be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and offering assistance, operating power equipment safely to organize and store donated goods, and categorizing and sorting merchandise into correct categories while ensuring quality and value. Additionally, you will help prepare donations by loading and unloading materials into containers and processing donations throughout the day to keep the donation site organized and efficient.

Requirements

Mathematical and Literacy Skills
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Positive and Friendly Attitude
Clear Background Check: A criminal background check must be completed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work.
Prior experience with thrift or used goods processing.
High School Diploma or Equivalent: GED, HiSET, or an equivalent qualification.
