FT Donation Receiver | Jefferson City Store
About The Position
This position is responsible for performing daily job duties within the processing team and department, including all requirements related to accepting and presorting donations. The role requires the ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment. The Donation Receiver will handle the receiving and donation process with respect and care, which includes greeting donors, assisting with unloading donations, sharing the KARM Stores story, confirming details with the donor, and issuing receipts. Additionally, the team member will assist the team by embodying the Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide and upholding the Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
- Must have a commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
- Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
- Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
- Ability to stand up to 100% of a standard work day.
- Ability to lift and bend up to 75% of a standard work day.
- Moderate to heavy physical activity.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential for job performance.
