About The Position

Moody Bible Institute is a Christian-based Higher Education and Media Ministry. We exist to equip people with the Truth of God’s Word. This is a Part-time position up to 28 hours per week: Monday through Friday, during the hours of: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is an in-office position with no remote work or travel expected. This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and scanners.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience working with high-volume, transaction-based systems
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of campus wide information system software applications (such as Campus Solutions, Donor flow, Recurring Engine, Sales Force, etc.) utilized in the work unit is desirable.

Responsibilities

Processing all mail that is received in a timely fashion.
Assisting the team in receipting gifts in RTL, Donor Flow and the Recuring Engine.
Maintain the accuracy of Collecting, Sorting, Scanning, Verifying and Receipting all physical mail pieces.
Process complex gifts which include money orders, bequests, soft credits and wire transfers.
Ensure non-donation-related mail is kept up to date.
Receipt donations in RTL, Donor Flow and Recurring Engine.
Process documentation for approval of gift adjustments and internal transfers.
Perform other tasks assigned by the lead supervisor and manager of DRM.
